28-30 June 2021: Stats4Omics workshop
The final workshop of the IMforFUTURE project focussed on mathematical and statistical methodologies applied to omics research. It was held jointly with the Leeds Annual Statistical Research (LASR) Workshop.
8-10 February 2021: Ageing Workshop
This successful international workshop took place online (it was originally scheduled to be held in Bologna). The topics of the workshop included Glycomics, Ageing and Glycomics, and Ageing and Omics.
The workshop included presentations and a poster session, as well as discussions.
Public engagement activities of the ESRs
The ESRs have been involved in several different activities and more details can be found on the above page.
16 September 2020: Virtual Research Day
A Research Day took place virtually where the ESRs gave presentations on their work progress and results, and there were discussions and also feedback from the Scientific Advisory Board.
16-19 February 2020: Annual network meeting, LUMC
The third network meeting took place in Leiden and consisted of ESR research presentations, training for the ESRs and management meetings.
24-26 June 2019: LASR Workshop, University of Leeds
This year's Leeds Annual Statistical Research (LASR) Workshop was partly funded by the Alan Turing Institute and the IMforFUTURE network, and the themes of the workshop were temporal data and bioinformatics. There were four keynote speakers: Peter Diggle (Lancaster), Huiling Le (Nottingham), Iuliana Ionita-Laza (New York) and Mihaela van der Schaar (Cambridge).
25-28 March 2019: Network meeting, University of Edinburgh
This week consisted of the mid-term review meeting with the EU project officer and external reviewer, as well as the second annual network meeting and training courses for the fellows.
8-12 October 2018: Training meeting, University of Leeds
This meeting was for the fellows and consisted of team building and training courses, as well as an ESR forum meeting.
26-28 March 2018: Annual network and training meeting, Genos, Zagreb
This was a training meeting for the fellows, and there were also network meetings for the partners. This was the first event with the fellows and there was a social event for everyone to get to know each other.
28 June 2017: Kick-off meeting, University of Leeds
The kick-off meeting for the project took place at the University of Leeds on 28 June 2017, following the start of the project on 1 April 2017. An overview of the project was given and all partners introduced their research relating to the project. There were also discussions on the training and research programmes and other network issues, including milestones, deliverables, and future meetings.
